Dr. Triyank Shukla (M.D. paediatrician) diagnosed the case of a right-sided inguinal hernia with obstruction in time. Vedant was taken into surgery, which was performed by Dr. Rajesh Shukla (M.S. General Surgery) along with Dr. Poonam Kanojia (M.D. Anesthesiology).

Successful case of treatment of dengue haemorrhagic fever with dengue shock syndrome

Prem came to Adani Hospital Mundra with complaints of abdominal pain, vomiting, and poor oral intake for 5 days, and upon investigation, it was found that the platelet count had fallen to 7,000.
Dr. Triyank Shukla (MD Paediatrician) diagnosed him with dengue hemorrhagic fever with dengue shock syndrome stage 3 along with bilateral pleural effusion with scites. He was kept in the ICU for close monitoring and later discharged with a full recovery and stable condition.
Prem, along with his parents, gave very positive feedback and appreciated the prompt treatment facilities at the hospital.

Successful treatment of extensive cellulitis

Jalubai Bhatti came to Adani Hospital Mundra with a complaint of fever and swelling over his right lower leg. Post consultation Dr. Rajesh Shukla diagnosed cellulitis, and multiple I&Ds were done on the right leg up to the thigh.
The infection in the right leg was extensive and was spreading up to the upper thigh area. After treatment, Jalubai gave very positive feedback and also mentioned that she would be visiting Adani Hospital Mundra if she ever required any medical help in the future.

Successful surgery for acute appendicitis

Sangam came to Adani Hospital Mundra with complaints of right-side hypogastric pain and nausea.
On examination, Dr. Rajesh Shukla found that she has acute appendicitis, due to which surgery had to be planned immediately and operated on.
Dr. Rajesh Shukla carried out an open appendectomy under spinal anaesthesia under Dr. Poonam Kanojiya (MD Anaesthesia).

Rafkul came to Adani Hospital Mundra on September 10, 2023, with a 30% burn injury to both the upper limb, face, and abdomen.
Multiple debridement and dressings were done by Dr. Rajesh Shukla over the course of 27 days of his stay in the isolation room to keep all infections at bay.
Towards the end of the treatment, Rafkul gave very positive feedback and commended the hygiene and necessary sanitation protocols that were taken to keep him in good health. We wish Rafkul a speedy recovery.
